River Mera's route
R iver Mera's route goes alongside the River Mera from Ponte Puñide to A Tarroeira's river beach, where the river meets the River Tambre. This route aims to be an invitation to know and interpret the natural value and resources of the surroundings of the Mera's riverside. This path is about 1,200 metres long (2.55 km if we count go and back). The starting point is in the territory of Ponte Puñide and has a 50-metre diversion that takes us to the Roman bridge that gives name to the area. This bridge is part of the Via Romana XIX, a road used by the Romans and that linked the towns of Braga (Portugal) and Lugo (Galicia).
